PRINTHEAD FOR CANON I9100 A3 PRINTER -

Replacement printhead for Canon i9100 A3 Colour printer. Unused and still in box. I believe it may also fit the S900 and S9000 series. This was ordered thinking my original printhead was damaged but it found to be OK. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CANON i9100 The Canon i9100 wide-format photo printer. It offers 6-colour output at resolutions of up to 4800 x 1200 dpi printing up to A3+ size. QY6-0039-000 PRINTHEAD The i9100 printer uses a QY6-0039-000 Canon Printhead. Printheads are classified as spare parts and as such do not need to be replaced as often as the ink tanks inside the printer. Over a period of time the resistors in the printhead fail and the image quality is not the same as when new. SHOULD I REPLACE MY PRINTHEAD The printhead does not need to be replaced each time the ink cartridges are replaced, only when print quality deteriotes and a head cleaning fails to resolves the problem, I would suggest checking with Canon if you are unsure. FITTING THE QY6-0039-000 PRINTHEAD No special knowledge is required to fit the printhead.
